Support
A person answers. Usually within a few days.
For help with an app, write to [email protected]. For anything else, [email protected]. Both go to the person who built the thing, not to a queue.
What to put in the email
- Which project: ExDex, Many Eyes, or something else.
- Which device, and its version: for example "Pixel 9, Android 16" or "Firefox on Windows".
- What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead. A screenshot helps.
Please do not send anything private from inside an app. We cannot see your entries, and we do not want to.
Questions people ask
- Do you have my data?
- No. Everything you put into one of our apps stays in that app's private storage on your device. We run no servers that hold it, so there is nothing on our side to look up, recover or hand over.
- How do I delete my data?
- Uninstall the app. There is no account to close and no copy anywhere else. If you want to keep a copy first, export it from inside the app.
- How do I move my data to a new phone?
- Export it to a file on the old phone, move the file yourself, and import it on the new one. Nothing goes through us.
- Is ExDex on Google Play yet?
- Not yet. It is in testing. When it is live, the home page and exdex.app will say so.
- Many Eyes will not load in my browser.
- It needs a current browser with WebGL turned on. Try another browser first, then write to us with the browser's name and version.
- Can I buy dus10dex or Locus?
- No. dus10dex is a private tool built for our own desk, and Locus is a project with a friend that is still being built. Both are on the site so you can see how we work.
